Health Plans
You may qualify for Tailored Plan Medicaid services if you:
- Have NC Medicaid or are eligible for it.
- Have Medicaid in a county that Vaya Partners serves.
- Need care for a mental illness, substance use disorder, intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD), and/or traumatic brain injury (TBI).
You may qualify for State-funded services if you:
- Don’t have insurance, or your insurance doesn’t cover enough
- Live in a county that Vaya Partners serves.
- Need care for a mental illness, substance use disorder, intellectual/developmental disability (I/DD), and/or traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Direct
You may qualify for NC Medicaid Direct services if you:
- Live in North Carolina
- Have NC Medicaid or are eligible for it
- Are not enrolled in NC Medicaid Managed Care (such as a Tailored Plan or a Standard Plan.)

Alamance, Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Cabarrus, Caldwell, Caswell, Catawba, Chatham, Cherokee, Clay, Cleveland, Davidson, Davie, Forsyth, Franklin, Gaston, Graham, Granville, Haywood, Henderson, Iredell, Jackson, Lincoln, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Person, Polk, Rockingham, Rowan, Rutherford, Stanly, Stokes, Surry, Swain, Transylvania, Union, Vance, Watauga, Wilkes, Yadkin, and Yancey.
