Vaya Partners knows that health needs go beyond the doctor’s office. Our physical and mental healthcare are only part of what makes us thrive. Help finding housing, work, transportation, food, or other social supports is only a search or phone call away.
Here are a few ways to access free or low-cost non-medical resources.
Vaya Partners programs and referrals
Vaya Partners members and recipients can contact their care manager or call the ACCESS Member Services at 1-888-235-4673. This line is available 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday – Saturday, including holidays. If you prefer to contact us online, submit a Community Resources Referral Request.

Resources for all North Carolinians
NCCARE360
NCCARE360 connects people to food, shelter, employment, financial services, help paying for utilities, and more. Any North Carolina resident can search for options through the web-based resource directory or call United Way of North Carolina’s helpline at 211 or 1-888-892-1162.

NC211
NC211 is a service of the United Way of North Carolina that provides people with free, confidential information about programs and services in their community. Any North Carolina resident can use this resource by calling 211 or 1-888-892-1162, submitting a NC 211 contact form, or searching the web-based NC211 tool.
Vaya Partners Behavioral Health Crisis Line
Vaya Partners’ Behavioral Health Crisis Line is available at 1-800-849-6127, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to all members, recipients, and residents of Vaya Partners’ region who are experiencing emotional pain or distress, thoughts of hurting themselves or others, or another type of mental health or substance use crisis.
