The Vaya Partners Board of Directors is responsible for the comprehensive, collaborative planning and budgeting of publicly funded services for Vaya Partners’ members. The Board appoints the Area Director and Chief Executive Officer, oversees compliance, approves the annual budget, and ensures Vaya Partners manages services in a way that best meets the diverse needs of communities throughout 47 counties in North Carolina.
The Vaya Partners Board of Directors is appointed under an alternative board structure approved by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) Secretary on May 22, 2026, per N.C.G.S. §122C-118.1(a). Vaya Partners complies with all applicable provisions of Chapter 122C regarding the composition, meeting schedule, training, compensation, maintenance, and support of the governing board.
Agendas for each Board meeting are posted to this webpage in advance of the meeting. Minutes are posted following their approval by the applicable Board/committee. Board handouts, including agendas and minutes, are always available upon written request to Board.Clerk@vayapartners.org.
We welcome public comment at the beginning of each meeting. To request notices of special or emergency meetings or any changes to the regular meeting schedule, please email Board.Clerk@vayapartners.org.
Regular meetings are held at 4:30 p.m. on the third Thursday of each month unless otherwise noted. Vaya Partners meetings are hosted with in-person and virtual meeting attendance options.
